I commenced showing and breeding dogs in my home City of Melbourne, Australia in 1968, quickly became ‘hooked' and have had quite a deal of success with my “Bonnymead” prefix. I have had the pleasure of owning and breeding many Champions and Specialty winners. Although being mainly involved with Beagles and Whippets, I have also owned and exhibited Finnish Spitz, Labrador Retrievers and Greyhounds, and have handled many other breeds in the showring. I have imported several Beagles and Whippets from the United Kingdom and more recently have successfully bred from Imported Frozen Semen.

I am licenced to award CC's at Championship Shows to all Hound Breeds, all Toy breeds, all Gundogs and Terriers. Hopefully I will shortly add Working dogs which I currently judge at Open Show level. I have had the wonderful experience of judging at Major Shows and Specialties in England, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Thailand, New Zealand and of course, Australia.

For many years I have been involved in Club Administration, serving on the Beagle Club, The Whippet Association , Hound Club, LKA, and LCCC Committees in recent years.

Currently President and Life Member of The Whippet Association of Victoria Life Member and Vice-President of the Ladies Kennel Association, Life Member and Vice-President of Lyndhurst Canine Country Club.
I was honoured with Life Membership of The Beagle Club of Victoria in 1985, and in 1999 became Patron.
